Bereavement
Grief is not only very individualized but is also an extremely normal response after losing a loved one. Grieving is a continuous process that evolves into different phases and may take more time and energy than you planned for or imagined. While your grief is personal, you’re not alone. Holisticare Hospice offers a Bereavement Program after the loss of a loved one for up to 13 months following their passing.
Contact is maintained, unless Holisticare Hospice is directed to do otherwise, through mailings, phone calls, support groups and memorial services.
We recognize that each of us takes our own time to grieve and recover from the hollowness left by a loved one’s passing away. We can help you, contact us today.

PA Breakfast Clubs
There are two breakfast social groups for family and friends that have had a loved one on our service and are grieving. These groups are relaxed, non-structured atmospheres for our family members and caregivers to get support and talk with others who have also experienced the death of a loved one. We continuously have a good mix of adult children grieving the death of a parent and spouse’s grieving. There is never a lack of conversation nor is it dull, but instead very supportive, real and although tears may be shed most often it is uplifting as well.
